The card game - Lycée Notre Dame du Grandchamp (Versailles)

Two players are given a deck of cards numbered from 1 to 6. Each of them picks a card from the deck. The person with the higher card will win the game. After the cards are picked, one of the players asks the other one 'Do you want to exchange your card with mine?'. Should the other player respond with a yes or a no, assuming perfect logical reasoning by both players? What should be the response if the number of cards is 10?
