Our research deals with the mathematical construction of a soccer ball, that is made of regular pentagons and
hexagons. Given the diameter of the ball, we shall approximate the length of the stitch and the area of the ball. Conversely, if the length of the pentagons is given, we shall approximate the size of the ball.
